Mosaic Is Just Around the Corner (June 1-3)

We are getting so excited for this year’s Festival of Fun!  Once again, the 2017 Scottish Pavilion will be held at the Owl, located at the University of Regina.

As with every year, the Pavilion cannot succeed without the help of MANY volunteers and we are seeking everyone’s help.  Please take note of the following important notes; join us as we celebrate Mosaic’s 50th year!

Atlantic Canada Bound

Entries continue to flood in for dancers heading to PEI for the 2017 SDCCS.  For all our dancers planning on participating this fantastic event remember  – First to enter; last to dance.  Don’t delay; register today!

Art

On January 27, many of our members came together and created two BEAUTIFUL works of art!

With the many changes the RHDA has seen over the last little while, we wanted to offer our members the opportunity to come together as an association, a family.  Since our association comprises 5 studios (over 100 members), we wanted to see friendships forged beyond the studio and evening classes.

So, with the help of 4Cats Art Studio, we ran two sessions for members of ALL studios, ages and levels, to come and get messy with us!!  And we think they did a great job.

While each participant got to take home their very own work of art keep sake, together they created two very large one of kind masterpieces.  Both pieces are being auctioned off on our RHDA Fundraising Facebook page until after our March competition where they will also be live on location March 4th.

Hello World!

Welcome to our new site!

2016 was a year of change for the Regina Highland Dancing Association (RHDA).  While many changes were large, some were small, but many things still remain the same.

We continue to be a family!  While we may not all have Scottish Roots, we all come together to help promote Highland Dancing and Scottish Culture in Regina.  A group where we all can come together (minus the haggis ). We are mums and dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles supporting each other along the way.

The Association continues to organizes competitions, workshops, tours, public performances, and a variety of cultural and social events for the membership and the public at large. Our focus is performances, competition, fun, forging friendships and sportsmanship.
